  • Aloha y’all! My name is Jani Taylor.

I am a U.S. Navy Veteran and Return Missionary. Stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for 3 1/2 years. I was a Deck Seaman, in charge of maintenance and general upkeep of my ship USS HOPPER (DDG-70). After my Honorable Discharge, I submitted my Mission Papers for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was called to the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Mission (and part of Texas).

I was the “GRANDMA” Missionary at age 24 (after the Military). After serving 2 Missions, I was a Freshman in College at age 26, so once again, the “GRANDMA”. I studied Art at Snow College, but

I dropped out of school for a BOY.. (mistake) in 2018.. It’s been a rollercoaster ride ever since, as I’ve struggled with hip surgery, the pandemic, a “FAITH CRISIS” as I did “all the things” I was supposed to… I have some battle scars (mental/physical) but it helped me realize that I cannot always be independent. I NEED TO RELY ON MY SAVIOR..

It’s funny.. Now that I attend the Mid-Singles Ward, I’m considered the “baby”. It’s like, the roles have been REVERSED and I’m no longer considered “GRANDMA” . However, I feel MUCH older with all of life’s challenges..

Grateful for the opportunity I have to fix my mistakes through the ATONEMENT OF JESUS CHRIST!

Hope to get back on my feet and then maybe move OUT of the country!

    SHORT FACTS ABOUT ME:

I used to share messages of Christ, but I’m recovering from a “Faith Crisis”. Focused instead on: Art, Music, and my Health Journey (mental/physical)
